On December 11, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Nakhchivan City Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party jointly held an event titled “Heydar Aliyev’s Way: A Heritage Connecting History and Future” dedicated to the life and activities of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev and his rich statehood heritage.

Speaking at the event, Azer Mammadrahimov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, acting minister, emphasized that the statehood activities of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev played an exceptional role in the history of Azerbaijan. He said that the development strategy determined by the Great Leader forms the basis of the political, social and economic growth of our country not only in the past, but also today and is of decisive importance in strengthening Azerbaijan as a modern state.

In his speech, the Deputy Minister emphasized that studying the heritage of Heydar Aliyev and conveying it to future generations is a priority task for every state institution. He said that this heritage is of great importance in terms of preserving the stability of our country, strengthening national and spiritual values, and educating Azerbaijani youth with modern knowledge and skills. At the same time, it was brought to attention that Heydar Aliyev's policy is successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev today and is reflected in the projects implemented in the autonomous republic.

At the same time, Azer Mammadrahimov brought to attention that as a result of the successful continuation of Heydar Aliyev's policy, projects implemented in the autonomous republic, including strategic initiatives such as the Zangezur corridor, ensure the development and integration of our country in the region. The opening of this corridor will connect the Turkic world on a new logistics line by creating land and communication links, and will further increase cooperation by expanding transit opportunities.

In his speech, Elman Jafarli, Chairman of the Nakhchivan City Organization of the New Azerbaijan Party, emphasized that the ideas of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev are still an important line guiding the socio-economic and political development of our country today. He said that the political course set by Heydar Aliyev played a decisive role in strengthening our statehood, and this path is being successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.

In his speech, Elman Jafarli also touched upon memories of Heydar Aliyev's life and work, drawing attention to the formation of Azerbaijan as a modern state through the Great Leader's hard work, unwavering will and far-sighted policy. He noted that Heydar Aliyev always considered the welfare of his people, the strength of his state and the development of future generations as a priority. Sahil Guliyev, an employee of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, chairman of the YAP territorial party organization, spoke in his speech about the value Heydar Aliyev gave to the youth of Azerbaijan and his role in shaping them as the driving force of the future. He said that the upbringing of young people with modern knowledge and skills, and their formation in a patriotic spirit were always in the focus of the Great Leader's attention. Sahil Guliyev emphasized that this policy is being consistently implemented today.
